Dr. Justina Pratap. (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
MBChB, PGDipObstMedGyn
Dr Justina hails from Fiji where she did her undergraduate study. She went onto do
postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from University of Auckland and has worked in various specialities in hospitals in Queensland, Australia for 3 years. She has over 2 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Fiji, Australia and NZ. Upon returning to NZ in 2018, she has worked for a year at Auckland City Hospital. Now she is keen to use her years of hospital experience in General Practice with special interest in Women’s Health and looks forward to working in the community.
She is fluent in both English and Hindi.

Dr. Lih-Jien Pang
Jien grew up in Malaysia and came to New Zealand to complete his university studies. He
graduated in 2013 from Auckland University and has since done various medical postings
across Waikato and Auckland region hospitals. In 2017, he decided to leave the hospital
system due to his passion in community medicine and started working in various GP/urgent
care clinics across Auckland. He has recently settled in West Auckland and plans to serve the
West community long term. His special interests are family medicine, acute medicine, chronic
care and minor surgery. During his free time, he enjoys running, hiking, scuba diving,
badminton and playing board games!

Dr. Hussam Al-Diery
Hussam Al-Diery originates from Syria and moved to New Zealand in the early 90s. He has
lived in New Zealand for over twenty years, having also spent over 8 years in Chicago,
Illinois prior to returning to New Zealand. He completed his medical degree at The
University of Auckland in 2016 and worked across several district health boards around the
country primarily focussing on general surgical and emergency medicine practice. After
working as both a surgical and emergency medicine doctor at Counties Manukau and
Waikato District Health Boards, he gained further experience in general medicine and
older person’s health in a rural setting, working in Thames Hospital for 7 months. He is
now a member of the Royal NZ College of GPs, training towards his fellowship in the next
few years. You will find him to be approachable, an efficient and clear communicator with
a pragmatic approach to care. He enjoys practical, hands-on work including minor skin
surgery.
When he is not spending time with his family and partner, he enjoy's training in martial
arts and freestyle wrestling as well as coaching youth in wrestling. He is also a spoken
word poet with an interest in philosophy, anthropology and sociology.

Elise
Elise has been nursing for over 10 years in the hospital system in acute assessment wards, hospice and emergency. She believes nursing is about talking, teaching, touching, smiling and crying - and loves supporting people to take an active role in the management of their health care.
